Juniper OSFP-2X400G-DR4-P Compatible 800G OSFP 2xDR4/DR8 1310nm 500m PAM4 DDM Dual MPO/MTP-12 SMF Optical Transceiver Module for QFX5240 Series Switch
Juniper OSFP-2X400G-DR4-P Compatible 800G OSFP 2xDR4/DR8 1310nm 500m PAM4 DDM Dual MPO/MTP-12 SMF Optical Transceiver Module for QFX5240 Series Switch
Description
The NADDOD OSFP-800G-2xDR4 optical transceiver is designed for 800G Ethernet optical interconnects in data center and cloud network environments. It supports link lengths of up to 500 meters over single-mode fiber (SMF) using dual MTP/MPO-12 connectors. The module performs 8-channel 106.25Gb/s electrical-to-optical conversion on the transmitter side and 8-channel 106.25Gb/s optical-to-electrical conversion on the receiver side, enabling an aggregate data rate of 800Gb/s over a parallel single-mode optical interface. By providing a standardized 800G DR4 electrical and optical interface, the OSFP-800G-2xDR4 enables direct high-speed interconnects between switches and network devices in spine–leaf architectures. Support for breakout configurations with 2×400G DR4/DR8 links allows flexible port utilization and gradual bandwidth scaling. These characteristics make the module suitable for high-density 800G Ethernet switching systems deployed in data center and cloud networking infrastructures.
