This unit can be used as either a multiplexer or de-multiplexer (Mux/Demux). It combines 16-channel of DWDM wavelengths into a composite signal and separates the combined DWDM signal into 16-channel individual wavelengths over a single-mode optical fiber. In accordance with the ITU-T G.694.1, it maximizes the capacity of the C-band range. Moreover, because single fiber Mux/Demux is always used in pairs, this device needs to be used in conjunction with the FMU-D162136A.

SFPS is brand of OEM-compatible optical networking products, including SFP, SFP+, QSFP+, QSFP28 and QSFP-DD transceivers, DWDM/CWDM systems, media converters, and DAC/AOC cables. Every module is 100% pre-shipment tested and coded for seamless compatibility with major platforms such as Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, Arista, HPE, Dell, Nokia and Fortinet backed by a lifetime warranty, fast global delivery, and dedicated technical support for data centers, telecom operators, enterprise networks and system integrators worldwide.
